An analogue-digital rhythm machine made from civilization waste

During a walk, objects such as twigs, packaging waste and anything else that can be lifted with the small smooth-running motors are collected on site to be clamped into the FALL1NG BRA2CHES apparatus. In this way, a site-specific percussion instrument is created. A motor lifts the found objects to a stop just before the vertical position and drops them, controlled by a microcontroller. In addition, the sounds can be recorded with a contact microphone or mixed live.
